On a mission to prove that young people from the hip hop generation do care about their communities and giving back to others, urban music/entertainment executive Vincent “Young Heartbreak” Tucker is joining the American Diabetes Association on a quest to cure diabetes. As his latest philanthropic endeavor, Mr. Tucker will take part in Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes on November 1st in Dallas, Texas to raise five thousand dollars for diabetes research.
According to the American Diabetes Association, 23.6 Million children and adults in the United States suffer from diabetes. The seventh leading cause of death by disease in the U.S., Diabetes can, and does, lead to a wide range of other serious health complications. By participating in Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes, Mr. Tucker is not only walking and raising funds to eliminate diabetes, but cardiovascular problems, kidney failure, blindness, lower limb amputations and much more.
