Vincent "Young Heartbreak" Tucker

“You know…my whole life I just wanted to be famous. I think those that know my story, where I came from…can really understand where I’m coming from. I’m not ‘Young Heartbreak’ because I’m just ‘the man’ with the ladies; I’m ‘Young Heartbreak’ because I came from the bottom. I went through things that would have given the average kid or teenager heartache and heartbreak. I’m ‘Young Heartbreak’ because I went through the trials and tribulations and I’m still here!”

Vincent “Young Heartbreak” Tucker can be described in three words: Charismatic, Focused and Ambitious. After one Google search via your favorite internet search engine, you’ll quickly agree that Mr. Tucker is one of the up-and-coming forces in the entertainment business today. In addition to being a rising music & entertainment executive, Vincent is a promoter, event host, radio personality, entrepreneur & philanthropist.

Born June 23, 1983 in Dallas, Texas, Vincent was raised by a truck driver (Father) and a financial analyst (Mother). Influenced by his parents, he became a fan of all genres of entertainment. His passion for the executive side of the business began in Spring 1995 after reading about Hip Hop Mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and his music imprint Bad Boy Records.

As home life became unsteady during his teen years, Vincent found solitude and comfort in urban music. As he continued to follow Mr. Combs’ career, Vincent also started learning about other prominent executives including Russell Simmons, Lyor Cohen & Jermaine Dupri. When he started attending Richland College in 2004, Vincent decided that he would attempt to break into the industry by moving to New York and securing an internship working for Sean Combs.

Summer of 2005 saw Vincent putting that dream on hold after being named President of Urban Music for a resurgent independent record label in Dallas. Inexperienced yet ambitious, Mr. Tucker made the best of the situation until the following November, when matters beyond his control forced him to resign. Founding his own entity, CWC Entertainment Group, L.L.C., he added three former executives from the previous company including Chris Panayiotou (who would later acquire 50% of the new entity). Building on a new set of contacts, Vincent went on to expand the CWC Entertainment Group enterprise to encompass a broad range of other businesses including artist management, public relations, event promotions and CD duplication. April 2006, Vincent joined forces with his mentor Jaimeian “Mr. Kuwn-Dalini” Pride, Chris Panayiotou and Ced Jemmerson to form Metro Muzik: The Union. The collective’s resume included local weekly artist showcases and promoting concerts for various national recording acts like Slim Thug, Scarface and Devin The Dude.

Various music & entertainment entities have embraced Vincent “Young Heartbreak” Tucker. In February 2007, Mr. Tucker joined the advisory board for a fledging business publication, T.O.M.I. Magazine and became a booking agent for The Harlem Starz Basketball Team in September 2007. November of the same year, Vincent became an online radio personality for The 360 D Radio Show and before being given a spin-off show in December, The Vincent Tucker Radio Show. As the #1 critically-acclaimed show on The 360 D Radio Online Network, the weekly program is syndicated by several online radio stations reaching audiences in the United States, Canada, Korea and the United Kingdom.

Making a community & cultural difference by giving back is valued heavily by Vincent “Young Heartbreak” Tucker and CWC Entertainment Group, L.L.C. He’s participated in various community service activities including the Salvation Army Adopt-A-Angel Tree Program buying Christmas gifts for unfortunate children. Since June 2006, Vincent Tucker volunteers one to two times a month at The Salvation Army Carr P. Collins Social Center near Downtown Dallas serving food to the homeless. Starting in Winter 2008, Mr. Tucker has partnered with several respectable parties in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex to raise awareness of the Homelessness in the city, as well as raise money for Breast Cancer and Diabetes Research.

In an attempt to encourage youth interest in politics, Vincent created Register To Speak Out!™ Joining forces with Charles “CITY” Gbadebo, the two executives pledged to register 100,000 new voters for the upcoming 2008 US Presidential Election. Two months later, Mr. Tucker became the Dallas / Fort Worth Street Team Leader for nationally recognized Rock the Vote organization, helping with their pledge of registering 2 Million new voters.

To insure the future movements in Hip-Hop are positive, along with CWC Entertainment Group VP Ke’shun Walker, Vincent plans to introduce The 1st Annual High School Hip-Hop Showcase™ in Spring of 2011. This innovative program, which is a hybrid of “American Idol” and “Showtime at the Apollo”, will allow tomorrow’s urban music & pop stars the opportunity to develop and express their talents to the masses.

Vincent continues to enjoy respect and notoriety in the entertainment business as he was a finalist for inclusion into the 2007-08 Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executives and Professionals & 2008-09 Princeton Premier Business Leaders and Professionals Registry. He’s booked to host various functions and has been featured on different television and radio shows, newspapers, magazines and websites including FOX, ABC, PegasusNews.com and The Dallas Observer.
