“You know…my whole life I just wanted to be famous. I think those that know my story, where I came from…can really understand where I’m coming from. I’m not ‘Young Heartbreak’ because I’m just ‘the man’ with the ladies; I’m ‘Young Heartbreak’ because I came from the bottom. I went through things that would have given the average kid or teenager heartache and heartbreak. I’m ‘Young Heartbreak’ because I went through the trials and tribulations and I’m still here!”

As the “Next American Feel Good Story in the Making”, Vincent “Young Heartbreak” Tucker can be described in three words: Charismatic, Focused and Ambitious. After one Google search, you’ll quickly agree that Mr. Tucker is one of the up-and-coming forces in the entertainment business today. In addition to being a rising music & entertainment executive, Vincent is a promoter, event host, radio personality, entrepreneur & philanthropist.

The real-life story of Vincent “Young Heartbreak” Tucker is heartwarming and inspirational, making him a unique role model for at-risk youth everywhere. Born June 23, 1983 in Dallas, Texas, Vincent was raised by a truck driver (father) and a financial analyst (mother). Influenced by his parents, he became a fan of all genres of entertainment at an early age. His passion for the executive side of the business developed in the early 90’s after reading an article about Hip Hop Mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and his music imprint Bad Boy Records. It was that same admiration for Mr. Combs that got Vincent through the hardships he experienced growing up.

“Coming from the bottom” as he would say, Mr. Tucker’s story includes surviving a deadly house fire that claimed the lives of three (his two grandparents & his 7-year-old sister), his first grade teacher suggesting he was autistic, the premature deaths of childhood friends, dealing with his parents’ drug abuse and, at age 13, his parents abandoning him on his middle school steps.

Instead of easily falling trap to the streets, Mr. Tucker decided to use those dark moments to fuel his desire for a better life. As he continued to follow Mr. Comb’s career, Vincent also kept tabs on other prominent executives including Russell Simmons, Lyor Cohen and Jermaine Dupri. While attending Richland College, Vincent decided that he would break into the industry by moving to New York and attempt to secure an internship from Mr. Combs and Bad Boy Records.

Summer 2005 saw “Young Heartbreak” put his “Bad Boy” dreams on hold as he became the President of Urban Music for a resurgent independent record label in Dallas. Inexperienced yet ambitious, Mr. Tucker made the best of the situation until matters beyond his control forced him amongst others to resign the following November.

After founding his own entity (CWC Entertainment Group, L.L.C.), Vincent added three former executives from the previous company including Chris Panayiotou (who would later acquire 50% of the business). Building on a new set of contacts, Vincent expanded CWC Entertainment Group’s enterprise to encompass a broad range of businesses including artist management, public relations, event promotions and CD duplication.

In April 2006, Mr. Tucker joined forces with his mentor Jaimeian “Mr. Kuwn-Dalini” Pride, Chris Panayiotou and Cedric Jemmerson to form Metro Muzik: The Union. The collective’s resume included weekly artist showcases, hip hop seminars and promoting concerts featuring various national recording acts such as Slim Thug (Interscope), Killer Mike (Grand Hustle / Atlantic) and Devin The Dude (Rap-A-Lot / Asylum).

Various music & entertainment entities have embraced Vincent “Young Heartbreak” Tucker. In February 2007, Mr. Tucker joined the advisory board for a fledging business publication (T.O.M.I. Magazine) and in September 2007 became a booking agent for The Harlem Starz Basketball Team. November of the same year, Vincent became an online radio personality for The 360 D Radio Sho and was then given a spin-off show in December, The Vincent Tucker Radio Show. This weekly show quickly garnered critical acclaim, became the #1 program on the 360 D Radio Online Network, and is now syndicated by several online radio stations and reaching audiences in the United States, Canada, Korea and the United Kingdom.

Vincent “Young Heartbreak” Tucker heavily values making a difference by giving back to the community. He’s participated in various community service activities including the Salvation Army Adopt-A-Angel Tree Program, a program in which participants buy Christmas gifts for unfortunate children and senior citizens. Since June 2006, Mr. Tucker has volunteered regularly at The Salvation Army Carr P. Collins Social Center near Downtown Dallas serving food to the homeless. Vincent has continued to partner with several people and organizations to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer,AIDS and Diabetes.

In an attempt to encourage youth interest politics, Vincent created Register To Speak Out!™, a non-partisan voter registration campaign. Later joining forces with Charles “CITY” Gbadebo, the two executives pledged to register 100,000 new voters for the 2008 United States Presidential Election. Late summer 2008 saw Mr. Tucker named the Dallas / Fort Worth Street Team Leader for nationally recognized Rock the Vote organization, assisting with their pledge of registering 2 million new voters.

Continuing to enjoy respect and notoriety in the business, Vincent was a finalist for & included into the 2007-08 Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executives and Professionals & 2008-09 Princeton Premier Business Leaders and Professionals Registry. He’s booked to host various functions and has been featured and/or interviewed on various television and radio shows, newspapers, magazines and websites including FOX, ABC, The CW, PegasusNews.com and The Dallas Observer.

Without a doubt, Vincent “Young Heartbreak” Tucker is “The Next American Feel Good Story In The Making!”
