As we come to the end of the eight year U.S. presidential run of George W. Bush, the 2008 presidential race becomes perhaps the most important election of our time. The 44 million 18-30-year-olds in the U.S. eligible to vote this year possess the ability to seriously affect the outcome. In order to help spread this message to young potential voters in North Texas, the Register to Speak Out movement has been created.

Founded by music & entertainment executive, radio personality & philanthropist Vincent Tucker, Register To Speak Out!™ is a regional, non-partisan campaign created to educate, motivate and empower North Texans aged 18 to 30 that are eligible to vote on November 4th. The myth that the youth vote doesn’t count will be defeated.

Following other successful national non-partisan organizations like "Rock the Vote" & "Citizen Change", Register To Speak Out!™ plans to increase youth voter participation in North Texas by using music and entertainment to make voting relevant. To meet our goal of registering at least 100,000 new voters, we’ll coordinate voter registration drives, get-out-the-vote events and voter education efforts. The Register To Speak Out!™ campaign's intend to ensure that young people in North Texas take advantage of their right to vote.

• Provide links/resources to read about the issues and where to vote
• Find/dispel myths associated with voting

In our continuing efforts to be an inspiring entity to the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex, as well as North Texas, CWC Entertainment Group has fashioned an event that will transpire as a permanent and renowned means to illustrate the extraordinarily talented youth in the region.

We’re in an era where the Media promotes today’s Hip-Hop youth partaking in delinquent activities, promiscuity and other negative avenues, The High School Hip-Hop Showcase™ is the medium to promote the opposite. Our mission is simple: To make a difference in the community, we must make a difference with the youth. By allowing our future superstars the opportunity to develop and advance in a constructive means will help them to enhance the skills and confidence they will need in adulthood

As a hybrid of popular television talent shows “American Idol” and “Showtime at the Apollo,” The High Hip-Hop Showcase™ is also established to become the launching pad for tomorrow’s urban music & entertainment superstars. Cheered on by family, friends and entertainment executives, this will be a positive but competitive setting for teens to be rewarded for their exceptional performances. There is no other event of this magnitude in the region.

Growing up, both Co-Directors have witnessed peers who failed to utilize their talented abilities, choosing to do wrong because there was nothing to shoot for. The High School Hip-Hop Showcase™ series was created to help curb those unfortunate circumstances providing hope & inspiration.

In addition to the high school students, we will have two performances from local/regional urban music acts and a main event urban music recording artist as well. Three dollars off over every ticket sold will be donated to a charity partner to be named later. The High School Hip-Hop Showcase™ will be an annual event as we plan to make it nationally recognized by 2011.

As the number one visitor destination in Texas, the City of Dallas is the base for The High School Hip-Hop Showcase™. Dallas is built on big dreams, freshly blazed trails and an attitude that all things are possible. Our richly diverse city offers a thriving culinary scene, leading arts district, countless luxury accommodations, professional sports, trendy entertainment districts and endless shopping opportunities.
